On Saturday 28 March 2020 we will be taking on the Great Hospital Hike in support of King's College Hospital Charity. We are Staff Nurses of Donne Ward, one of King’s Health and Ageing Wards. We are looking after frail vulnerable patients ages 65 and above with the aim to provide them a healthy and safe hospital experience through quality care, dignity preservation and faster rehabilitation. Most of them have complex medical problems, mobility issues and cognitive impairments such as Dementia and Alzhiemer‘s Disease. The funds we can raise will help us in our Dignity projects in the unit. We also aim to provide better services and hopefully can buy Dementia friendly digital clocks for our dear patients. As daughters and sons, we treat our patients like our own parents because we owe it to them what we have become today.
