Dressed to De-stress -Team fundraising for The McCarthy Stone Foundation

Raising money for The McCarthy Stone Foundation

Our Foundation works with grassroots charities and organisations that help older people to feel valued, connected and engaged with their community.

Story

As we step into January, a month often associated with the post-holiday blues, the McCarthy Stone House & Estate Manager team is taking a stand! This year, we’re beating the January slump and raising money for the brilliant Black Dog Music Project in Norwich.

We’re kicking off 2026 with “Dress to De-stress” – where the team will be dressing up in fancy dress once a week throughout January. Expect colour, creativity, and plenty of laughs!

But behind the fun is a powerful purpose. The Black Dog Music Project supports people across Norfolk who are living with mental health challenges, helping them discover the therapeutic power of music. Their work reaches into care homes and out into the wider community, supporting people who need connection and creativity the most.

And here’s the best part:

Because our fundraising is supported and match funded by the McCarthy Stone Foundation, every £1 you donate becomes £2 for the charity!

Our goal: £1,000

Your support could help us make it £2,000 for Black Dog Music Project!

By getting involved, you’re helping to highlight the importance of mental health support and showing solidarity with those who may be struggling.

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. Donating is quick, easy and secure – your details are safe with JustGiving.

Together, let’s spread joy, raise funds, and beat the January blues!
