Story
**Dura Composites' Three-Year Journey to the Summit of Ben Nevis**
At Dura Composites, we believe in pushing boundaries—not just in our industry but in every challenge we take on. That’s why, three years ago, we embarked on an ambitious journey to complete the UK Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest mountains in Wales, England, and Scotland in support of Mid and North East Essex Mind.
This May, our journey reaches its peak—literally. On May 10th, 2025, a determined team of 17 colleagues will take on Ben Nevis, the final and most formidable mountain in our Three Peaks Challenge.
A Journey of Determination and Purpose
Our challenge began with Snowdon, where we tackled steep ascents and unpredictable conditions, driven by our commitment to supporting mental health awareness. Then came Scafell Pike, which tested our endurance with its rugged terrain and demanding climb. Through it all, we were motivated by the incredible generosity of our supporters and the vital work that Mid and North East Essex Mind does for our community.
Now, as we prepare for our final climb, Ben Nevis stands before us as both a physical and symbolic milestone. At 1,345 meters, it is the tallest mountain in the UK, demanding resilience, teamwork, and unwavering determination. But just as in our business, we face challenges head-on, knowing that the reward is not just in reaching the summit but in the difference we make along the way.
Climbing for a Cause
Mental health affects so many lives, and Mid and North East Essex Mind provides crucial support for those in need. Voted as one of our Charities of the Year by our Dura Composites team, their work ensures that no one has to face mental health struggles alone. That’s why we’re stepping up once more—to raise funds, awareness, and hope.
We invite you to be part of our journey. Every donation, every message of support, and every shared word about our cause makes a difference. Together, we can summit Ben Nevis and help Mid and North East Essex Mind continue their incredible work.
Follow our progress, cheer us on, and most importantly, help us reach our fundraising goal. Because at Dura Composites, we don’t just climb mountains—we move them for a greater purpose.
