Some 36 or so years ago, We took part in a 3 legged race at school. Since then we’ve grown up together, played football and had many great times. Always up for a challenge and both enjoy getting out running, we’ve signed up for a challenge called Endure24. As a “Dynamic Duo” we aim to take it in turns running 5 miles laps for 24hrs (Midday Saturday thru til Midday Sunday) with the aim of running at least 10 laps each in order to reach 100miles+.

We will need to be in top condition for this and will train around work and family life to be ready come July 2nd. To help us get in shape we are even doing the Sheffield Half Marathon in March as a small warm up, which is another achievement in itself.

Of course with any challenge like this, it is a good opportunity to raise money for good causes, so we have therefore decided to run for the “Create a Dream Foundation”

Create A Dream Foundation are a registered charity setup to help seriously ill children and young people in the Sheffield and South Yorkshire region. We help to make their dreams come true by helping to fund gifts and experiences. We understand that the dreams of each individual child can be as varied and fantastic as each child themselves. We aim to do all we can with our resources to make these dreams a realityNo matter the size of the dream, we will do what we can to make it come true.
