For 2023 AMT-SYBEX EAM and Mobile have nominated the Irish Heart and Stroke Foundation as our Irish charity of the year.

Colleagues, former colleagues, families and friends of our staff have been affected by the impacts of heart and stroke, and we are supporting the Irish Heart and Stroke Foundation in their work caring for people in the community living with stroke and heart conditions and their families.

We plan to undertake several events and challenges to hit our fundraising target.

AMT-Sybex charity golf event

The AMT-Sybex charity golf event took place Sunday September 3rd with all proceeds going towards the Irish Heart Foundation.

The venue was a sun-drenched Elmgreen golf club in Dublin and the champagne scramble team format proved to be great fun. Congratulation to Chris Dooley, Stephen Murray and Noel Doyle who took the honours with a very respectable 2 under par 68.

John Bergin's Half Marathon Run - Saturday September 23rd

Our colleague John Bergin took part in the Irish Life Half Marathon to raise funds for the Irish Heart foundation finishing the race in one hour and forty nine minutes!! A remarkable achievement.

AMT-SYBEX - FIDE RAPID CHESS TOURNAMENT - Sunday October 1st

In association with the Irish Chess Association, our colleague Damien McCormick arranged an inaugural chess rapid tournament with proceeds going to the Irish Heart Foundation.

The tournament proved to be a huge success with players travelling from across the country to compete ensuring a brilliant turnout .

The top prize was won by Robert Arellano.

The monies raised are still being tallied and will be updated in the coming days.
