We are raising money to provide IPad's for Southampton General Hospital.

Southampton General Hospital require 30-50 IPad's as a direct result of the Covid-19 Pandemic. ElemenTel have provided SGH with 10 Ipad's to satisfy the immediate need of the hospital but more are needed. These IPad's are required for a number of important reasons:

1. For patients who are isolated on COVID wards to allow them to keep in touch with their friends and families and for family to "see" their relatives even though they are unable to visit them.

2. For use on the COVID wards to enable remote consultations with other departments. Remote consultations reduce the staff that are required to enter the COVID ward to treat patients. For example if a COVID patient has another underlying health condition SGH can prevent further contact with the patient by having the specialist consultant FaceTime rather than attend the ward.

3. For use by the Occupational Health Teams to help support our wonderful NHS Heros in this extremely difficult time.

4. For the wonderful NHS Heros to use in Staff safe spaces to enable them access to wellbeing support and very importantly to be able to keep in touch with their friends and family whilst working on the frontline.

5. To provide entertainment for COVID patients who are in isolation.
