On Saturday 4th July, 6 of us from Elevate Aerial Fitness will be climbing Mount Snowdon, via the Miners path, to raise money for Sands.

Last year two of our extended Elevate members unexpectedly lost their beautiful baby girl at 21 weeks. The strength they have shown throughout the whole process has been remarkable.

They would not have gotten through this without the support of their family, friends and the wonderful charity Sands.

The owner of Elevate Aerial fitness, Jenna, also had early losses and lost a beautiful baby, making both her children rainbow babies. Jenna would not have gotten through this without Sands which makes this charity even more meaningful.

The support they have received and continue to receive from Sands during this tough time has been nothing but incredible.

Sands is the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby loss charity. They offer compassionate and nurturing, one-to-one and group support, online, by phone and in person.

Each year they host remembrance and family events to bring a community of people together. They even provide families with a memory box so they can hold on to the precious moments they had with their baby.

Sands also works to give healthcare professionals and trusts, the training, tools and support they need to provide excellent bereavement care and to ensure every bereaved parent and family receives the best possible care wherever they are in the UK.

Everyone at Team Elevate knows someone who has lost a baby and are amazed by the support Jenna and our friends have received from Sands and would love to give back.

Our aim is to raise £900 for this incredible charity.

Team Elevate is all about community, we are there for eachother when they need it most. We are aerialists not hikers and although we are physically fit this will certainly be a challenge for all of us!
