A group of determined young people from Ellon Academy are preparing to take on the adventure of a lifetime, a life-changing Polar Expedition with The Polar Academy in March 2027.

This extraordinary opportunity is about far more than reaching a remote destination. It’s about resilience, confidence, teamwork, and discovering what they’re truly capable of. Over the coming months, these students will undergo intensive physical and mental training, pushing beyond their limits and growing stronger together. For many, this journey represents a turning point, a chance to build self-belief, overcome challenges, and return home with a renewed sense of purpose.

To make this expedition possible, the team is working hard to raise the funds needed to support training, equipment, and travel.
