Emilia and her Auntie Weez are taking on the Kiltwalk to raise money for COVEY’s ANGELS groups 💜

ANGELS (Additional Needs Gaining Experience in Life Skills) supports young people with additional support needs by giving them opportunities to learn, grow and build confidence. Through weekly sessions, COVEY helps reduce the barriers faced by young people with needs such as autism, Down’s syndrome, ADHD, global developmental delay and cerebral palsy. The groups offer workshops, outings, events and both 1-to-1 and group mentoring — creating experiences many of the young people might not otherwise have access to.

As a service manager at COVEY, Auntie Weez sees first-hand the difference these groups make. Emilia loves hearing all about what the ANGELS have been up to and was determined to help raise money to support them, purely out of the kindness of her own wee heart.
