Story
On 12th April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for MND Scotland and the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA); two charities that are important to me. In September 2024 a good friend of mine was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and both charities have helped him and his family navigate the last year and a half. I am raising money so that other families can benefit from the support these charities provide.
MND Scotland, in addition to supporting families, have two specialist holiday homes in stunning Scottish locations, fully equipped to meet the needs of someone with MND. It allowed my friend to have a holiday in a place he loves.
Money raised for Motor Neurone Disease Association will be restricted for research use at the request of my friend and his family.
I am not a long distance runner so this is a real challenge for me and will take lots of training during the winter months!
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
