This September, I’m taking part in the BRCA Chat September STOMP Challenge, aiming to complete 250,000 steps throughout the month to raise money and awareness for an amazing charity that supports people affected by BRCA genetic mutations.

I originally planned to take on the challenge but made the difficult decision to step back from the challenge when I had a surprise letter telling me my mastectomy would take place on 15th September. My amazing best friends Emma and Rhiannon offered to do the challenge on my behalf 🩷🩷

But plans have changed and my surgery has been pushed back… so I’m back in! 🙌

I’m determined to give the 250,000 steps my best shot and raise as much as I can for BRCA Chat along the way.

BRCA Chat has provided me with support, information and a community that has helped me through my own BRCA journey. I’d love to give something back and help them continue supporting others facing decisions and treatment that can feel incredibly daunting.

250,000 steps. One month. One very good reason. 💗
