Event: The Big Walk 2020, on 3 July 2020
We are doing 30 things throughout June to support Parkinson's Disease research at the University of Sheffield. Our researchers are leading the way in developing personalised treatments for Parkinson's Disease.

Story

To help raise vital funds for research into Parkinson's Disease, on Friday 3rd July 2020, Departmental Administration Managers from across the Faculty of Engineering are joining hundreds of University staff and students, hiking 23/36 miles through the Peak District and the City of Sheffield.

There is currently no cure for Parkinson’s Disease and no way to stop the disease from getting any worse. Affecting 145,000 people in the UK alone in 2020, new treatments are needed to stop Parkinson’s in its tracks.

Together with your support, we can make a real difference. Research being done at the University will result in a huge leap forward towards personalised treatments for Parkinson's.

Your donations will help keep us motivated to complete our challenge, so please donate now to support this hugely worthwhile cause.
