In October/November of 2025, a group of 20 friends from around the world will embark on the journey of a lifetime – a trek to Everest Base Camp (EBC-5,364m). This isn’t just about challenging ourselves physically and mentally; it’s about giving back to the Sherpa community that makes this incredible adventure possible.

Reaching the base of the world’s highest peak is a dream for many, but it’s more than just a personal challenge for us. While we chase our dream of standing in the shadow of Mount Everest, we know that none of this journey would be possible without the incredible people of Nepal — the Sherpas, guides, and local communities who make the Himalayas their home. As a group, we’ve committed to using this trek as an opportunity to raise funds for a cause close to our hearts. The funds we raise will support the Sherpa community, who are dedicated to supporting everyone who dreams to trek the Himalayas.

The Everest region is not only home to some of the most breathtaking landscapes on earth but also faces unique challenges. Life in the high Himalayas is tough. Porters and Sherpa families face:

• Limited access to healthcare

• Education challenges for their children

• Economic uncertainty when trekking seasons are disrupted (weather, natural disasters, pandemics)

Our team is raising funds to support "The Tendi Sherpa Foundation" so that families in the Everest region can access education, healthcare, and better opportunities. By supporting our fundraising efforts, you’ll be contributing to provide the right support at ground level. Every donation helps us make a tangible difference to the lives of the people who live in this awe-inspiring yet remote part of the world.
