Story
As many of you may know, in July 2022 we received the devastating news that our daughter Evie (5 years old at the time) had been diagnosed with a rare form of Leukaemia. She fought this for 2 years and with the help of amazing medical professionals at Alder Hey Children's Hospital and the Children's Ward at Nobles Hospital she rang the bell to mark the end of her treatment in August 2024.
This year we will be taking part in the Isle of Man Cancer Research Relay for Life on Saturday 23rd-Sunday 24th August. This event raises much needed funds for cancer research across the UK.
The Relay for Life will see our team 'Evie's Dreamers' walk laps around the NSC track for 24 hours. As part of our challenge, our team aim to walk 730 laps throughout the course of the event. Each lap representing one day of chemotherapy treatment endured by our daughter Evie.
If you're able to spare a pound or two for this worthy cause, we would really appreciate it. Also, if you find yourself free on August 23rd/24th come and walk a lap or two with us to help us reach our goal.
