Story
Hello everyone, we are volunteering with Microsoft to raise funds for world-leading Children's Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). We are aiming to raise £2500 before 5th July, and £1500 during the race weekend.
About GOSH:
- It was the first hospital in the UK dedicated to offering inpatient care to children.
- It’s the largest center for child heart surgery in the UK and one of the largest centers for heart transplantation globally.
Impact of GOSH:
- Every day, around 750 seriously ill children from all over the UK are seen at GOSH.
- The hospital has always depended on charitable support.
- GOSH has developed numerous new clinical treatments and techniques that are used across the NHS and around the world.
Why Donate to GOSH:
- Donations help fund groundbreaking research, advanced medical equipment, child and family support services, and the rebuilding and refurbishment of wards and facilities.
- A donation of £10 could pay for a genetic test that will help diagnose sick children.
- A donation of £50 could cover the cost of one night’s stay for parents in the family accommodation.
- By donating, you’re not only helping GOSH but also transforming the lives of children and their families.
- Join us to help build the Children's Cancer Centre at GOSH and save more lives.
Together we can build it. Together we can help beat childhood cancer
