Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

We're gearing up for the London Marathon, and we need your support! With nine of us taking on the challenge (Doug Holden, Andrew Hoggard, Thomas Blades, Adrian Knowles, Jimmy Atterby, Richard Chapman, Paul Lamont, Jack Beckett, and Cecelia Enright), we're raising funds to empower individuals with spinal cord injuries to live full, independent lives.

We have chosen this charity in memory of Antony Barnes. Antony was a strong supporter of the work of Aspire and, in particular, the Aspire Housing programme for which he worked in partnership with us through the provision of two properties to provide fully accessible homes for spinal cord injured people. He was passionate about his charitable giving and was one of the kindest and most generous people.

So please help us fundraise towards this great cause. Every pound makes a difference.
