Story

“Reconnect & Reach the Heights to Conquer Cancer” – for CLAN

The date of the EY Big Hillwalk event for CLAN is fast approaching and the Charity team are starting to put more detailed plans in place,

Below are a few more bits of information and clarifications about the event, and some thoughts regarding fundraising.

FUNDRAISING

- Obviously we are aiming to raise as much as possible for CLAN and one of their fundraising targets is “Pay for a Day”

- “Pay for a Day” – it costs around £10,000 to provide all of CLAN’s services for one day, and even if we can part-fund some of these valuable services then we would be making a huge contribution e.g. £2,000 covers the cost of the Wellbeing services at Aberdeen CLAN house, or £5,000 covers the cost of all wellbeing services across the North-east of Scotland

- Please don't forget to ask your family and friends to add your name in the comments when donating, so we know who it's for, thank you.

HILLS – a reminder

o Broad Hill

o Brimmond Hill

o Bennachie

o Scolty (** subject to the forest being open – currently officially closed due to storm damage)

o Clachnaben (this route will probably just be shortened to Clachnaben and not Mount Battock in order to complete it in time)

o Pressendye

o Mortlich

o Morven

o There is also a bike & hike option up Mount Keen for the adventurous

PLEASE GET INVOLVED, SIGN UP TO ONE OF THE WALKS, AND RAISE AS MUCH MONEY AS YOU CAN!
