Raising money for East Cheshire Hospice

East Cheshire Hospice provides essential care, support and compassion to local adults facing life limiting illnesses. We rely on fundraising to pay for over 80% of our daily costs, and so you can be sure your support will make a huge difference to our patients, their families and loved ones.

Story

We love a challenge here at S&G Response and this challenge is like no other we have attempted!

We have 4 intrepid cyclists challenging themselves to cycle through 4 countries in 4 days covering a whopping 444km. The team, consisting of Jonathan Spencer, Nick Stone, Sean Harper and Tom Healey will be setting off on their challenge at 7am on Friday 30th June from our head office in Wilmslow to travel by train to Dover, catch the ferry over to Calais and on 1st July start their cycling journey - Calais (France), then Bruges (Belgium), Maastricht (Netherlands), finishing in Cologne (Germany) on Tuesday 4th July.

This is a huge challenge for the team who are hoping to raise in total £10,000 in aid of East Cheshire Hospice, Macclesfield who need a staggering £3.5 million each year to care for people suffering from life-limiting illnesses. Not only is this a small local charity but one that is also close to our hearts as several of our employees including Tom have benefited from the support East Cheshire Hospice has provided to family or friends.

Please help us to support our team and raise much needed funds for this fantastic charity by donating as much as you can even if just a small amount as every penny will help us reach our goal.
