Team Story: Why I’m Walking
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page!
This June, I am taking on the Walk 3 Miles a Day Challenge to support the Epilepsy Society.
This isn't just a challenge for me—it’s personal. I live with epilepsy myself. I know the reality of living with seizures, the constant uncertainty, and the strength it takes to keep pushing forward every single day. I’m walking these miles because I want to help power the research that makes life safer for all of us in the epilepsy community.
The goal is to help the Epilepsy Society halve epilepsy-related deaths within the next decade. Every mile I complete honors the three people who lose their lives to epilepsy each day in the UK, turning my steps into life-saving progress.
The breakthroughs made over the last 75 years have only been possible because of people like you who believe change is possible. Every hour in the lab brings us closer to a future where we don’t have to live in fear.
I’m doing the work, and I’m asking for your support. Please give generously to help me reach my goal and support a cause that means everything to me.Xx 💜
