I have partnered with Shaykh Yahya Ibrahim in partnership with Human Appeal this Ramadan as part of a global team of people that raise funds to feed 6000 people/1000 families across 15 countries insha’Allah!

More people are hungry than ever before. This Ramadan, a staggering 828 million people don’t know where their next meal will come from.

The cost of essential food staples is soaring across the globe, but as those in the ummah whose homes and livelihoods have been desecrated by war, displacement, disease, and climate change will struggle simply to survive.

Be a mercy in their lives, and reap the multiplied blessings of Ramadan.

This Ramadan the focus is to provide food to last the whole month for families in 15 countries including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia, Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Togo and Nigeria.

Each parcel is tailored to the local country and dietary needs, but on average they contain 60-70 kilograms of nutritious food and will provide a family of six for the whole month with enough essential and nutritious food such as:

Rice • Sugar • Salt • Flour • Chickpeas • Lentils • Tea bags • Milk powder • Pasta • Dates • 5 litres of oil • Dates

The Prophet Muhammad PBUH said: "Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, swill earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person".

£70/$90 - Feed a family-of-six for the whole month of Ramadan.

£140/$180 – Feed 2 families for the month of Ramadan.

£350/$450 – Feed 5 families for the month of Ramadan.
