Fahmidah Ali and Elizabeth Wickson of Medical Accident Group are supporting Acorns Children’s Hospice and are braving the elements for the fire and Ice Walk in order to raise as much money as possible.

Can you support Medical Accident Group as they take on the epic challenge? This special event will involve walking over hot coals or broken glass to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

It costs £27,000 every day to run Acorns services providing specialist care for children and support for their families. The charity relies heavily on donations to fund the majority of its activities.

£3 could provide a meal for a child staying at a hospice
£10 could fund art supplies for a session of specialist craft play
£15 could fund a replacement oxygen cylinder for a child at Acorns
£20 could fund the equipment Acorns nurses need to provide care in the family home
