For many of our neighbors in need, the holiday season often means a struggle to put food on the table. Help the Central Texas Food Bank ensure that our neighbors in need can gather around a full table.

Story

During the month of November, Anderson High School Boys Basketball program coaches and others will grow out their beards, while also raising awareness for the Central Texas Food Bank.

To make it fun and interesting, donations to the Food Bank are counted as votes towards a creative facial hair styling. The winning style is then worn by the coaches for the first week of December, including at 3 basketball games!

About the charity

The mission of the Central Texas Food Bank is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in the fight against hunger. We provide food through a network of about 300 Partner Agencies and mobile food pantries across 21 counties, an area about twice the size of Massachusetts.
