Raising money for The Myton Hospices

The Myton Hospices - Snowdon for Sunrise 2023 · 18 June 2023 ·

This will help ensure The Myton Hospices can continue to provide its services free of charge to people with a terminal or life limiting illness, and their families, when they need us most.

Story

Mandy Paul and Cathy are taking part in The Myton Hospices Snowdon for Sunrise Challenge on 18th June 2023. We will be climbing Mount Snowdon, setting off in the early hours, in time to greet the sunrise as we reach the summit. We are taking on this challenge in memory of Mandy's Mum. As many of you will know, Joyce sadly passed away at Myton Hospice, Warwick in December. Before she died, Mandy promised her Mum that she would take on a challenge in her memory and, in turn, raise as much money as possible for Myton Hospice. A promise that Mandy made to her Dad, Ken, when he passed away in 1997. She went on to run the London Marathon and raised over £2000 for The Myton Hospices with your generous support. We think you will agree that everyone knows someone who has has been cared for, either as patient or family member, by The Myton Hospices. They are leaders in compassionate end of life care and last year they supported more than 1,500 people and their families, in the three hospices, via their patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. They need to raise £9.1 million this year to provide their services free of charge – they can’t do it without us.... they can't do it without you. Your kind donations, as well as supporting Myton Hospice, will also ensure Mandy keeps her promise to her Mum ❤️Thank You
