Stonegate FP&A take on the Shropshire 3 Peaks!

For once, we're the department climbing the numbers instead of just reporting on them.

On 17th September, the FP&A team is trading spreadsheets for hiking boots to take on the Shropshire 3 Peaks Challenge — a 21km walk from Church Stretton taking in 2,790ft of elevation across some of the toughest hills in the Shropshire Hills AONB. For context, that's roughly the height of London's Shard... seven times over!

Between us we can usually forecast most things with a fair degree of accuracy, but our own fitness levels on hill 3 is not one of them. So if you'd like to sponsor some finance professionals into unfamiliar territory (steep gradients, no spreadsheets, minimal complaining allowed), we'd really appreciate it.

Every donation — big or small — goes straight to CALM and gets us one step closer to the summit.

As part of Stonegate Group, we are supporting the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) who are taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling rubbish, standing up to stereotypes, and standing together to show life is always worth living.

125 lives are lost every week to suicide. Suicide is now the leading cause of death for people aged 15-39, and men under the age of 50 in the UK. CALM exists to change this.

CALM do it by provoking conversation, running life-saving services, and bringing people together so they reject living miserably, get help when they need it and don't die by suicide.
