This year, I’ll be taking on the Blackpool Night Run with my wife, Lyndsey, and our two daughters, Eva, aged 11, and Lexi, aged 9. We’ll be running 7.5 km together along Blackpool Promenade and beneath the famous Illuminations—and we’re hoping to raise as much as we can for a very special local cause.

We’ve been training hard, turning up for parkrun most Saturdays and putting in the miles as a family, despite a fair bit of moaning from the kids along the way! We’re proud of how far they’ve come, and we’re looking forward to crossing the finish line together.

The money we raise will support Brian House Children’s Hospice, the only children’s hospice on the Fylde Coast. Brian House provides free specialist care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as vital support for their families.
