Young people from the lowest income families make slower progress in secondary school and are much less likely to attend the most selective higher education institutions. This has an impact on levels of educational attainment and later job opportunities and wages. By fundraising for the Impetus Triathlon you are helping to reduce these barriers and give fair opportunities to some of the 2 million young people living in poverty in the UK
