Story
On 27th April, we (Freya and Guy) will be running the London Marathon together in memory of our beloved mum, Jane. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and sadly passed away in 2021. This year, the marathon falls on her birthday—making our run all the more meaningful.
During her treatment, our mum found tremendous support and comfort through the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. During her remission, Jane was happy to stay involved with their work and raise awareness of their vital services. We’re forever grateful for the care they provided, and we want to honour her memory by raising funds to help Helen Rollason continue their incredible work for others facing cancer.
We’re excited (and slightly nervous!) to take on this challenge as siblings—fingers crossed we can manage 26.2 miles without any bickering! Every blister and mile will be worth it, knowing that together, we can make a real difference.
About Helen Rollason Cancer Charity
This charity is dedicated to supporting people with all types of cancer at any stage, offering a range of complementary therapies in calm, welcoming environments. Their work meant so much to our family, and we can’t thank them enough for the care they provided.
How You Can Help
Cancer affects 1 in 2 people, and every penny you donate will help Helen Rollason continue to support patients and their loved ones. Please join us on this journey—whether it’s by donating, spreading the word, or cheering us on from the sidelines.
Thank you so much for your support.
With love,
Freya & Guy
