9 years ago I found out I had breast cancer. It was almost a full year from finding a lump in my breast to finishing my treatment. I had a lumpectomy & lymph nodes removed, 6 rounds of chemotherapy and 20 doses of radiotherapy. It was hard going through treatment, especially with a young son to protect from it, but I had my family & friends to support me. I thought once it was all over I would be able to just get on with my life again. I found that I really struggled, I was scared & I felt very lost. Breast Cancer Now are a research & support charity and they really helped me. I attended their Moving Forward support group and it gave me the confidence & information that I needed.

Our team have joined together for this walk through our love of being out in nature, sharing a laugh and supporting each other. We love a challenge and are looking forward to seeing what Blenheim has to offer.
