Story
Sometimes giving starts with something really small.
A moment in your day when you think, “You know what, I can help with this.”
And that little moment can turn into something much bigger.
This year, a small group of us are taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk at Hampton Court Palace to support Breast Cancer Now.
There are six of us confirmed so far, walking together with one simple goal: to raise money that will help fund lifesaving science and life changing support for anyone affected by breast cancer.
A bit of perspective on why this matters:
When Breast Cancer Now’s Pink Ribbon Walks first started back in 2005, 8 in 10 women in the UK survived breast cancer for five or more years. Today, that number is 9 in 10. That kind of progress only happens because people come together to support research, care, and better treatment options.
But even with that improvement, breast cancer is still the most common cancer in women in the UK. There is still a long way to go, and Breast Cancer Now are working toward a future where everyone diagnosed not only survives, but lives well. To make that possible, we have to act now.
That is why our little team is walking.
And that is why we are asking for your support.
We are aiming to raise £900 through our JustGiving page, and every single pound helps push things forward. By sponsoring our Pink Ribbon Walk, you’re helping to change lives today and shaping the future of breast cancer research and support.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for considering a donation. We’re grateful for anything you feel able to give, big or small.
Thank you again. Your kindness really does make a difference. 💗
