Twelve men a day, every month, every year kill themselves in the UK. Jonno, the popular and dearly loved 26-year-old son of our dear friend Angela, was one of those 12 men one day in May 2022.

Suicide is the largest cause of death for men under age of 50 and the rate for men far exceeds that of women. It’s been said that if suicide were a virus we'd be on the hunt for a vaccine.

More than two million people were in contact with mental health services in March 2024. The problem is massive but still under-appreciated. The charity Mind is a major provider of support for those who suffer with their mental health.

We are taking part in the Thames Bridge Trek on 14 Sept. It is a 25km walk taking in 16 bridges, the first being Putney Bridge and the last Tower Bridge.

A group of Angela’s friends will be walking with her to raise money and awareness for this essential charity.
