This is a great situation for the defending NFC champs to be in. General manager John Lynch could turn that 13th pick into a stud receiver, left tackle of the future or a replacement for Buckner. He could also decide to trade down.

Trades will, of course, be the name of the game for San Francisco during the draft. It does not boast a draft pick in rounds 2-4. The 49ers also have a few players who could be on the block.

It’s in this that I provide you a full seven-round 49ers mock draft heading into the annual event later this week.

Note: Mock draft conducted on the Fanspeak simulator using Bleacher Report Matt Miller’s big board.

First Round, 13th Pick: Jerry Jeudy, Wide Receiver, Alabama

There’s been some talk that San Francisco might very well look to go defensive tackle or offensive tackle with the selection it acquired from the Indianapolis Colts. I just can’t see that. I am also not confident in recent suggestions the 49ers are higher on Henry Ruggs than Jeudy.

This pick makes just too much sense. Jeudy already boasts the best route-running skills of any receiver in this class. He can create separation on a dime, providing huge windows to throw underneath. The electric receiver can also take it the distance on any given play. He’s right up there with Amari Cooper and Julio Jones as the best Bama receivers to enter the NFL in generations. Teaming Jeudy up with stud youngster Deebo Samuel and Pro Bowl tight end George Kittle would be too hard for the 49ers to pass up on.

Second Round, 45th Pick: A.J. Terrell, Cornerback, Clemson

Note: San Francisco sends 31st pick to the Buccaneers for 45th pick, third-round pick (76th overall) and tight end O.J. Howard
