We were discussing how difficult it is at this time for charities to raise funds so we decided we should make an effort to help.

We discussed various options then decided that Macmillan is where we should initially focus our efforts. We can talk about my wonderful father-in-law Peter, who died of pancreatic cancer 3 years ago and family members that have been affected by cancer. But then we realised that everyone has been affected by this terrible disease, so we shouldn't focus on any one person. Macmillan does an amazing job and will help us all cope during these terrible times. As such we will be training and raising as much money as we can for this wonderful cause. Thank you for any support you can give us.

At first our very good friend, Jordan was going to join me. The event was then cancelled due to COVID. When it was rearranged Jordan was pregnant ❤️ and had since given birth to a beautiful young daughter. Luckily my daughter, Stacey stepped in. She is now the one who will have to carry me you around 26 miles of the Peak District.
