Rowing the Length of the Thames for The Fire Fighters Charity - Sunday 5th July -

G38 Heston White Watch is taking on a unique challenge to support The Fire Fighters Charity. As a water rescue station, we thought it was only fitting to row the entire length of the River Thames – a total of 340 kilometres.

Working together across three rowing machines, our crew will row cumulatively throughout our shift to cover the full distance. This challenge will test our teamwork, organisation and endurance as we aim to complete the equivalent journey from the source of the Thames all the way to the sea.

We are proud to be raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity, an incredible organisation that provides lifelong support to serving and retired firefighters, as well as their families. The charity offers vital physical and mental wellbeing services to those who are committed to protecting others.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help The Fire Fighters Charity continue the outstanding work they do for the firefighting community.
