Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. The Galbraith Perth team are running the Aviemore ½ marathon on the 4th October, raising money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) in memory of our colleague, Colin Stewart. The challenge of running a ½ marathon is one that Colin tackled many times, along with many other walking and cycling challenges and adventures. We are following his example and taking on the Aviemore 1/2, with a wide array of runners and non-runners in our midst. Each team member is putting in the training and working hard to get to the start line… from there it’s a mere 13.1 miles to the finish line!

We would be very grateful for your support, and hope to raise as much money as we can for the BHF. We are raising money as a team, and Galbraith will be match-funding the total raised.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's thanks to support from fundraisers that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help us hit our target.
