Story
Gildeas Solicitors are proud to support Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in loving memory of Dr Ashwin Bali.
Our team are taking part in Tough Mudder Edinburgh on 7th June 2025. Help us support CRY as we tackle Tough Mudder's 8 feet walls, cage crawl, and more!
About Ashwin:
Ashwin tragically passed away from Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS) at the age of 26 in March 2024. Born and raised in Glasgow, Ashwin was a Foundation Year 3 doctor working in Yorkshire. Following his passing, Ashwin's family & friends raised over £21,000 supporting CRY last year:
Ashwin will always be remembered for his beautiful and striking smile that lit up every room he walked into, and his incredibly kind, loving, and generous character. He was always ready to celebrate life to the fullest and brought so much joy into everyone’s lives.
We're proud to continue their work by sharing Ashwin's story. You can read more about Ashwin here: https://www.c-r-y.org.uk/dr-ashwin-bali-mystory/
About CRY:
Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.
With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death.
We're aiming to provide additional cardiac screening facilities across Scotland to help promote and protect the cardiac health of our young people.
By supporting CRY, you can help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
