Over the past few years, Giovanni Rosso has proudly supported its long-standing partner, Berry Bros. & Rudd, who raised over £600,000 for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, with the shared ambition of reaching the £1 million milestone. Now, fully embracing this vital cause, we are launching a new adventure: a charity cycle ride from Beaune to Barolo, uniting two of Europe’s most iconic wine regions for one powerful purpose: to help find a cure for motor neuron disease (MND).

Why We Ride

You have a one in 300 lifetime chance of developing motor neuron disease (MND). Half of people diagnosed die within 24 months, a third within one year. There is currently no cure.

MND is a cause close to our hearts. In 2018 our friend and colleague Davy Żyw was diagnosed with MND, but he’s defied the odds by surviving far beyond the two-year average life expectancy. All the while, he’s been a source of incredible inspiration. He’s tirelessly raised money and awareness through extraordinary physical feats, which most people without the disease will never accomplish.

My Name’5 Doddie Foundation are helping fund promising clinical trials across the country. These trials are getting closer and closer to finding a meaningful treatment, and a cure for this life-stripping condition
