Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

Hiiii & thank you for visiting our page.

We (Maniram, Mausam, Precchhya, Rimona, Rimsa, Ritu, Suprabha) are participating in The Big Half Marathon (21.1 km) on 3rd September 2023. It’s most of our first time running an official half marathon and are super excited to share this journey with you all.

Please join us in our journey to fundraise for Marie Curie who supports people living with terminal illness (a cause close to the heart ♥️). Named after the renowned scientist Marie Curie, who is remembered for her discovery of radium and polonium, and her huge contribution to finding treatments for cancer.

£23 pays for Marie Curie to nurse a terminally ill person in their home for an hour. £92 pays for Marie Curie to spend one evening caring for a patient in their own home. £207 pays for one of the nurses to care for someone through the night.
