Raising money for Grassroots Suicide Prevention

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·

We work to make sure nobody has to experience thoughts of suicide alone. We fight dangerous stigma that stops people talking about suicide. We teach communities to recognise and support those at risk. We develop new ways for people to get lifesaving support. Together, we can prevent suicide.

Story

On April 6th, 2025, members of GKT Netball Club will be proudly running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of Grassroots Suicide Prevention. For some of our girls, this will be their very first running event, and we couldn’t be more excited to take on this challenge together!

Our amazing runners are: Emily Power, Imogen Gush, Felmy Ajayi, Ella Bauwens, Ellie Kirman, Cordy Page and Jemima Bell. We’re so proud of each and every one of them for stepping up to make a difference.

When someone experiences thoughts of suicide, feeling connected to others can be life-saving, but reaching out for help can feel overwhelming. Too many people face this pain in silence.

That’s why preventing suicide means working together. Together, we can fight harmful stigma that stops people talking about suicide. Together, we can learn to recognise and support those at risk, and connect them with a network of lifesaving services. Together, we can prevent suicide.

Grassroots Suicide Prevention works to ensure that no one has to face thoughts of suicide alone. With your support, we can help them continue their lifesaving work.
