This year 10 of us are taking on the 2026 Kilt Walk and tackling 23 miles to raise funds for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.

This cause means a great deal to us, as they have been supporting our colleague Sam, his partner Lauren and their incredible 9‑month‑old son, Lachlan. The Craniofacial Team at Glasgow Children’s Hospital has provided Lachlan with exceptional care, including vital neurosurgery that has helped keep him strong and thriving.

Sam and Lauren have seen firsthand the challenges faced by the ward, the dedication of the staff, and the emotional strain that families experience during such difficult times. Hearing their journey has shown me just how important this charity’s work is. Any donations, big or small, will help improve services and provide crucial support to families when they need it most and will go a long way in making a difference!
