We are riding bikes from London to Paris. We are seven friends on road bikes. Our journey starts on 11th July from Centre court Wimbledon. We will travel 65 miles on day one, we will board a ferry from Newhaven to dieppe France, with overnight stay at ibis Dieppe Le Val Druel, Dieppe.

The Newhaven to dieppe ferry takes 4-5 hours. we will board 1700 ferry reaching dieppe at 2200. On arriving Dieppe, the beautiful white cliffs of Alabaster coast will greet us.

Next day on the 12th July Friday we will ride to Domaine St Germer and this is about 68 miles. The initial route is a cycle only paved path which is part of "Avenue Verte" only for cyclist. This section is about 30 miles cycling path only. We will cycle through the unspoilt rolling hills of Vexin national park, part of Epte valley before reaching Gisors. We will stay overnight at DOMAINE ST GERMER

Avenue verte is the official London-Paris cycle route connecting London Eye to Norte Dame cathedral in France. Its one of the most remarkable cycle journey of life time with incredible views and scenery with narrow country side lanes, bustling small towns, lush rolling hills and connecting the two bustling capital cities.

On day 3, 14th July Saturday, we will leave Domaine St Germer after breakfast and will embark on our final leg of journey to Eiffel Tower, Paris.

This section is about 45 miles and involves beautiful country side and part journey, at the end, along the river Siene before entering Paris. The route involves travelling between peat lands, wet meadows and limestone meadows covered with large numbers of orchids in spring.

Finally, arriving in Paris will be a big deal, so we will make sure to give ourselves enough time to celebrate. We will stay Saturday night in Grand Hôtel De Turin, Paris

Our return journey will be on 14th July Sunday by ferry. Just to mention we will have an escort van with us in case any unforeseen situation, injury etc. One of our friends has given us this great favour of driving the escort and supporting us.

All our hotel selected on our route can accommodate bikes or allow bikes to be taken to the rooms.

We thought to give this long ride a soul by creating this page and to raise some money for this medical charity working for the injured in Palastine especially in Gaza. In personally attended a fund raising dinner where MAP presented and money was raised for this noble cause. One of my friend who is an IT consultant is also involved with them directly and confirmed the authentic work this charity is conducting.

I thank you all who has contributed for this great cause and giving us a boast to be more enthusiastic for this cause. I request an encourage all friends to contribute what ever you can, even a £1 will help the poor and needy suffering humanity in Gaza. At the end I would like to say "Its not about any Religion, Its about humanity and we all care for it"
