Globe Rowing Club is a South East London based rowing club rowing out of Greenwich and the Royal Docks.

A number of our athletes will be taking part in a 12 hour ergathon with a target of raising £5,000 - We'd like 75% of donations to Richard House Children's hospice and 25% to go to our rowing club.

Local to our Docks location is Richard House, which is a children's hospice, providing a wide array of services to over 185 children with either debilitating or terminal conditions as well as crucial support and assistance to their families!

On the 24th of September a number of Globe's rowers will be rowing for 12 hours continuously either as a team or as individuals with the hopes of raising as much as possible for much needed funds for Richard House as well as a small portion to support our diverse club's growth in it's hundredth year!

Richard House is a Children's Hospice delivering crucial services to hundreds of children and their families across East London and beyond.

They deliver specialist care for babies, children and young adults, while supporting their families through counselling, therapy, bereavement support and more. With a focus on living for today and creating positive memories for tomorrow, we also offer a range of activities for all the family to enjoy.
