The closure of the American Liver Foundation's San Diego office left a service gap for patients and caregivers in our area. I'm excited to let you know that volunteer leaders recognizing this gap, organized to form the Liver Coalition of San Diego (a new non-profit). We will make sure that these services will continue and will be controlled and provided locally. All funds raised will be kept in San Diego to continue this good work.
