(Carla) My son was diagnosed in 2019. His first flare resulted in a hemicolectomy. He has relied on a biological infusion every 8 weeks to keep him well. A month ago he had an adverse reaction to the medication even though he has been on it for over 3 years.

He started a new medication this week, another infusion which we are hoping keeps him well.

These diseases can be so debilitating and more research is needed to understand the cause and find new treatments

Carla will also be completing ride it which is cycling 300k over the month of April.
