Raising money for Alzheimer's Society

Great Manchester Run 10k 2021 · 26 September 2021 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

The Queen Anne Cottage Team are taking part in the Great Manchester Run (10K) 2021 to raise money for the amazing Alzheimer's Society in the fight against Dementia.

Our team's motivation is to raise funds to enable dementia sufferers, like our Mum and Nanny Doris Banks, to continue to have all the support they need to have a happy and fulfilling life full of love and encouragement.

As children and grandchildren, we have seen first hand the amazing work that the Alzheimer's Society does to support sufferers and care givers, like Terry Banks, manage the day to day stresses that go hand in hand with being a dementia sufferer.

Our aim is to raise as much money as we possibly can and any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean the world to us!!!

THANK YOU!
