Raising money for Scottish Action for Mental Health

SAMH Stomp · 26 October 2019 ·

After an amazing second year, Scotlands unique stair climbing challenge, the SAMH Stomp, is back! Come join Team SAMH on 26th October and conquer BT Murrayfield stadium.

Story

In the world we live in today, it is easy to miss when a friend needs support. The Oban Lorne ladies offer that support and help even when you may not be aware you need it, we see ourselves as being a family and look after each other. We are happy to listen and can recognise when a team mates mood has changed.

Exercise improves mental health and the support and encouragement that the team offer ensures that no one feels alone or unsupported.

The SAMH Stomp is a cause the Oban Lorne Ladies feel strongly about and would greatly appreciate any donation towards this.

Around since 1923, SAMH currently operates over 60 services in communities across Scotland providing mental health social care support, homelessness, addictions and employment services, among others.

These services together with our national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention, sport and physical activity; inform our policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.
