Story
We are Team Miles for MND...Henny, Polly, Tash, Charlotte, Fiona and Kirsty.
We’re a group of school friends and family connected through long-standing friendships, taking on a shared challenge for a cause that matters deeply.
In 2026, the Doddie Triple Crown returns as Rob Wainwright’s annual cycling challenge raising funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, set up by Doddie Weir, the iconic Scotland and British & Irish Lions rugby player, after he was diagnosed with MND. Since its formation the Foundation has become a leading force in funding vital research and providing practical support to people and families affected by the disease.
While the cycling team takes on their route, our team will be completing a 300 mile journey across Ireland by foot and bike. Both challenges will finish together in Dublin, with runners and cyclists arriving at the same time despite taking on very different journeys. Different disciplines, one purpose.
This challenge helps to support the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and its work funding research and providing support for people living with MND. Every donation helps that work continue.
Thank you for supporting Team Miles for MND and the wider Doddie Triple Crown challenge.
