RUN FOR A YEAR
Campaign by Tom's Trust (RCN 1183559)
2021 is the tenth anniversary of Tom's Trust. Each year in the East of England approximately 40 children are diagnosed with a brain tumour. 100 Tom's Trust runners are going to run to fund one year of mental health support for all of these children

Story

Each year in the East of England approximately 40 children are diagnosed with a brain tumour. £1000 provides a child and their family with mental health support for one year, we are therefore fundraising to support all 40 children for one year and aim to raise £40,0000.

2021 is our tenth anniversary year and we have 100 runners in the Cambridge Half Marathon Event. Together they will raise enough money to support all 40 children diagnosed in one year in the East of England.

A brain tumour is a devastating diagnosis and one which requires vital mental health support from the point of diagnosis for the child and their family. This immediate support will change the life and outcome of the child.

We are a group of 8 colleagues from Grant Thornton running to support Toms Trust in their Run for a Year challenge. Collectively we will be running a distance over 100miles! Some of the team will be taking part in fancy dress, 118 style, and it will be an accomplishment to simply cross the finish line at all!

Any donations big or small will be greatly appreciated by the GT team and Toms Trust!
