On the 6th July, a group of GWD team members will be participating in a Dragon Boat Festival @ Willen Lake, Milton Keynes. With a team of 10 paddlers and 1 drummer, our team, GWD Suanni will be competing against 40+ teams to achieve the top step and be 2024 MK Dragon Boat Champions !!

Whilst we are very much looking forward to a fun filled day on the water, hopefully with your support in person, there is a more important part of the event which is raising money for our nominated charity, Children with Cancer UK.

With 1 in 2 people developing some form of cancer during their lifetime, we all have a story of how it has affected ourselves and loved ones. This charity particularly resonates with us as it focus’s solely on supporting children who have to face this awful disease and are only just starting their life journey.
