Story
I'm taking part in a virtual Lands End to John O Groats event. Although the challenges allows a whole year to cover the 874 miles I'm aiming to complete by April 4th - Easter Day. That's an average of approximately 9.40 miles a day. Once the event begins you'll be able to track my progress.
If you're on Facebook I'm posting daily updates on this page.
To track me on the LEJOG9 virtual map visit this page and type my name where it says 'search for names' - if you click on my name when it appears then it'll zoom in on the map to my position.
*UPDATE - I finished on the 23rd March - taking just 82 day to complete!
I'm raising money for two amazing charities (USPG and Restored) and I'd really love it if you'd split your donation between them. (The top link below is to donate to Restored, the bottom link to donate to USPG)
USPG - United Society for Partners in the Gospel. Founded in 1701, are the Anglican mission agency that partners churches and communities worldwide in God’s mission to enliven faith, strengthen relationships, unlock potential and champion justice.
Your donations will go towards their Lent Appeal for 2021 - "For Such a Time as This" supporting the work of the Church of South India. You can read more about USPG on their website
Restored is a Christian registered charity that speaks up about the realities of violence against women and girls, supports survivors of domestic abuse and inspires and equips the Church to support survivors and transform relationships in their communities.
Your donations will go towards their general fund. Further information about the amazing work that Restored do can be found on their website
