Story
Group: R331
Gareth White Electrical Services are proud to launch a fundraising campaign to support the placement of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) throughout Buntingford, and to assist the incredible efforts of the Buntingford Volunteer Ambulance First Responder Group.
For the first £1865 raised, this will go towards an Public AED and will be in memory of Debbie Whybrow who was a massive part of the Buntingford community and well loved. The AED placement will be confirmed and agreed upon with relevant parties.
Gary Whybrow (Debbie's Husband) has said: "Debbie loved Buntingford and Buntingford loved her!"

Your help can put lifesaving defibrillators where they’re needed most
Every second counts when someone suffers a cardiac arrest. Quick access to a defibrillator can mean the difference between life and death—and that’s why we need your help.
Thank you for visiting the North East Herts public access defibrillator fundraising page
Our mission is to raise funds for the installation and ongoing maintenance of Public Access Defibrillators (PADs) in North East Hertfordshire, focusing on communities in and around Buntingford and Puckeridge in placement collaboration with the East of England Ambulance Service Trust.
Why PADs matter
Public Access Defibrillators are life-saving devices designed to be used by anyone in an emergency when someone suffers a cardiac arrest. They are placed in accessible locations so that help is always close at hand. Early defibrillation dramatically increases survival chances, and by installing more PADs, we aim to give our communities the best possible chance to save lives.
How your donations help
Every defibrillator funded through your generosity will be registered on the British Heart Foundation’s Circuit system, ensuring 999 operators can direct callers to the nearest device in an emergency.
Funds raised will cover:
Purchasing and installing PADs in priority locations
Weatherproof cabinets for outdoor access
Maintenance costs, including replacement batteries and electrode pads after use
If we exceed our fundraising goal and have sufficient PADs installed with a strong maintenance fund, any surplus will be directed to the East of England Ambulance Service Charity General Fund, supporting wider life-saving initiatives.
About East of England Ambulance Service Charity
The East of England Ambulance Service Charity supports volunteers, staff, patients and communities, above and beyond what NHS funding can provide across the east of England. This includes funding wellbeing, additional equipment, training, staff initiatives, and community education such as EEAST Heart – free CPR and defibrillator support for the public, all aimed at improving patient outcomes and saving lives.
Together, We Can Save Lives
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to making our communities safer. Please donate today and help us give someone the best chance of survival when every second counts.
